Overview
Research in our laboratory focuses on “the molecular mechanism of circadian clock” using Drosophila as a genetically and biochemically tractable model system and the “roles of circadian clock in diseases” such as mental disorder and metabolic syndrome in several model systems including Drosophila, mouse and human derived tissues.
Lab member
Sang-hyuk Lee 이상혁
Ph.D. student
He graduated from the department of biological science in Ajou University. His research interest is how the crosstalk between cellular metabolism and clock machinery is achieved. He analyzes behavior and molecular changes following genetic and nutrient perturbation of glucose metabolism in Drosophila.

So Who Kang 강소후
Ph.D. Studen
She graduated from the department of biological science in Ajou University. Her research interest is to understand the molecular mechanism of circadian clock. By performing genetic screening she found novel gene which control circadian period in Drosophila. Currently, she works to find out the mechanism of the novel in regulating Drosophila circadian clock.
